Lower Thomas Creek, Reno

One of the days that it was actually spring weather. We decided to go for a hike. Hunter had a blast. He had to look out the side of that pack the entire time. Nick took his fishing pole and Hunter would laugh every time Nick took a fish and the fish would move all over the place. Can't wait for summer weather to come, so we can get out some more.

My cute hikin' boys.

Love Hunter's smile in this one.

He is always happy to be outside!

We thought he'd have fun putting his feet in the water,
But the water was cold and he would just take his feet out,
and then put them right back in.

He wanted to touch it,

But he really only wanted to twig!

I really liked this shoot.
So I had to post it.

I love my boys!!!

My young Cellist!

While Hunter wasn't moving, Nick use to put Hunter in his little bounce, and Nick would play to him to get him to go to sleep. NOW, it's a different story. Hunter has to be right there with dad (while Nick is playing). It's funny to watch him because he get so focused and just watches Nick. It's so cute. We hope that this will help him want to play the cello.

Dad's looking this way, so might as well.

His face just says it all.

This last picture you can see the wheels turning in Hunter's head trying to figure out what those little knobs are for. Got to love this little boy.

Easter

For Hunter's first Easter, we thought he'd have fun looking for eggs. So we cleaned up most of his toys and put out some eggs for him to find. He had fun going from one egg to the next. Can't wait for next year when we can hide them!!!

When I was growing up is wasn't Easter unless we had a family picture in our Easter clothes. SO I decided to pick up hte traditoin. These pictures are the best do to the sun and trying out the timer on our camera, but who cares!!

Hunter is wearing 'duck booties' that Nick's Aunt made for him.

Our Easter clothes are the same that we wore for Nick's sister's wedding!
Why not get more use out of them.

Hunter did a great job and never ate his tie!!

Had to get a standing shot of my big boy!

We had a fun day, and weather was even nice. Can't wait for more fun holidays to come with our little family and start our own tradtions!

The wonderful things I can do!

Hunter can do lots of things now. He's 7.5 months and is loving life! The crawls all over the place and tries to escape when we aren't looking. A couple of weeks ago Hunter decided to start pulling himself up in his crib. (We have had to drop this bed to the lowest point because he fell out one morning). He climbs all over us and is pulling himself up on everything. He's getting more coordinated everyday. He has even had his first bloody nose! Must becoming a boy.

He's mastered the sippy cup and sleep through the night again.  We figure it won't be long before he starts walking. He likes to sit in the shopping cart and "flirt" with all the girls!

We are enjoying his new found mobility. And love seeing him figure new things out. The thing that gets Hunter mad, is when we are eating and he's not. He has to at least be in his high chair or we have to give him some of our food. We sure love this little man!

Look what I did!

I love to eat my railing!

I'm getting ready to climb in my new car seat!

I kneel every time I start to stand up.

Look mom, I did it!
He now stands up straighter.

I coming to get the camera.

He really likes to play with my big lotion jar. It rolls and keeps on rolling.

This is my cheesy smile.

I look like a big boy in my crib.

Mom, I touched the camera.

I can stand flat foot and I love playing with my exersaucer.

I got caught!
He likes to climb on everyting!

This is how I found them when I got done with a massage.
It was right after Hunter got a bloody nose!
This was the first time in months that he has fallen a sleep in Nick's arms!

He loves to climb up and over his basket.

Nick will be done student teaching the begining of may. We are excited becuase we will be able to do more
and enjoy some good weather. I'm still working a few hours a week, but once Nick's done, I get to go back to workins a couple of hours during the day, instead of the evening! YAY!!!! We sure love our little Hunter and love when he figures new things out! Can't wait to see what else is figures out!
