The latest Haines Adventure

Since we've been fixing up the last 2 weeks a few changes have happened. We now have a 3 bedroom house, a walk in closet and a master bathroom. Also we closed off 2 doors to make complete walls. We have more outlets for electronics, and we have fans in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. The house is looking good. We just have to mud, tape and paint the house. As soon as we have more pictures I'll post the before, middle and after.

My parents came up last Monday night and Wednesday morning, I woke up not feeling great. Went to the doctor's on Thursday and had my nose swabbed 4 times!!!! They put me on flu drugs and antibiotics. Well today the doctor's office called and told me that I had "Swine Flu". Nick now asks: "How's the Pig!" No the flu wasn't bad. It was the first time since junior high that I had the flu. I really only felt crappy for about 2 days. But it was not fun while there was stuff to be fixed in the house.

All is well now. We still have painting to do but that's the fun stuff. Until the pictures...Have a great day!

Nick's in for the 2nd or is it 3rd time...

Right after sitting down in sacrament meeting the 1st counselor can over and asked if he could talk to Nick. When Nick can back he had a huge smile on his face. HE was called to serve as Varsity Advisor, which is the advisor over the teachers!!!! HE sure loves the the teacher age boys and is excited to be in Young Mens' again.

As for me, the Bishop told night and I that I had a calling, but it was in the works and wouldn't have a calling for a little while.

We have enjoyed our new ward. Nick's already getting put into the Chirstmas Program for him and his chello. I guess that's about it.

PS~ We took down all the 2x4's the our master room on saturday. Man is it scary when you take down the last standing 2x4, hoping that the ceiling won't fall. 2 Day later and the ceiling is doing just great. I'll post pictures as soon as I can.

A very fun weekend!

My sister was able to fly out with her youngest baby, for a weekend get-a-way. Heidi is our very first house guest and we had a blast. We went hiking, had gourmet dinners (made b Nick), picked out colors to paint my house, watched Dr. Quinn videos, and talked for a while. It was so much fun to have her here with us! Thanks for coming out and bringing the little one that we got to play with!!!!!
