Christmas Stuff...

Hunter was so excited about HIS Chirstmas Tree! Anyone who has stopped by has has had to show them his tree. A few days after putting it up, we decorated it. Hunter was very proud of the ordiments he got to put on. He hasn't even taken any off. He just walks by and says: "Wow. Pretty!" I just love this time of year, and now with Hunter talking I love it even more. Any time  we are out and he sees christmas lights, he get really excited at tells you- "Lights, WOW, Pretty!!!"

The first one he had to put on.

HO HO HO!
This year I had a Marth Stewart moment. I wanted to make my boys their own stockings. Amazingly they came out great! The green is Hunter's, and the Blue is Kavan's. I also have been wanting to monogram Hunter and Kavan's towels. So while I had the sewing machine out, I was able to do it.

My Boys!

His morning routine. Sitting on the couch eating his dry cearl.

Trying to rool over and look at mom.
Hunter started pre-school this August. He loves it. The other night he had to sit down and go through his binder. We have so much fun going through his binder that he likes to read all the Letters for bedtime reading. He also put all the magnetic letters in top of each other. So being a pround mom, I had to get a pictuer.

Can he get any cuter?!

Hunter likes to play with Kavan and do what he is doing.

Christmas Tree Cutting

We were finally able to get out and cut our Christmas Tree. I think this has become one of my favorite things to do with Nick. I'm excited to share this experience with my little boys.

The Family all bundled up

He's not sure about this.

He was waiting for his turn to cut.

Hunter couldn't get enough of that white stuff to eat.

After the tree was cut and back at the car. Hunter was done and trying to eat more snow.

We tried to get Kavan to smile and this was the best we could do.
Half a smile.

November Happenings

A lot has happened the last month. Here is a few pictures of all that has happened in the Haines' House Hold.

When fall comes here, it really hits our backyard. There are 3 big trees that dump leaves in our yard. This year Hunter wanted to help dad and mom rake the leaves. We would all rake the leaves into a pile and he would jump into it. He loves it so much that every afternoon for the rest of the week he would go outside, rake leaves, and then jump into them.

One day we decided to start cleaning the garage out. Hunter found all of Nick's kayak gear and put on his helmet. He even had to find a paddle so he could paddle his kayak.

We had our first snow (even if it was a little) in our yard. He wanted to go out and play in it. So he found his shovel and had to show me what he scooped up. He had so much fun and wanted to stay outside to play in it.
I love his content face.

I was able to capture one of Hunter's favorite things to do.
JUMP!!!

We finally decide on what we wanted to do with the kids bathroom. Since Hunter loves Curious George, we though why not. So the walls are yellow and brown, towels are shades of green, and a monkey curtain. Hunter has to tell everyone about his "George" bathroom.

My baby, Kavan, turn 4 months!!! And boy is he a big boy:
15.4 lbs (75%) and 27 inches (97%). He's the size of an 8 month baby.
He likes to watch whatever Hunter is doing. Love's standing and playing in his exersaucer. Is a great sleeper (9-11 hrs a night). And He is just a happy little boy!

Thanksgiving this year we went down to Arizona. It was a nice 80 degree weather while we were there. WE decided to drive down over night and back on Sunday during the day. After that I've decided that driving at night is so worth it. Hunter had a blast spending time with all of his cousins. He learned about Spiderman, and had to sleep with his cousin's Spiderman ever nap and bedtime. Since we were down there my family took family pictures. It was fun to get all of us together and take pictures. Afterwards, we had a girls lunch. I've never had so much fun with my sister, sister-in-laws, and my mom. Thanks Nick for watching the bays to enjoy the afternoon with the girls.

My sister gave us some clothes for my boys while we were in Arizona. One was a Frog costume. Hunter has been wearing it almost every day. We even taught him how to jump like a frog.

One recipe that Hunter and all of us love is a Butternut Squash Muffin. But low, and behold we were out of muffin papers, so Nick made bread. This is what happens when a 2 year old can reach the bread. He even got caught in the act and kept eating away!!

Halloween

We had a fun time at our ward Halloween Trunk-o-Treat! This year Hunter was a Dinosaur and Kavan was our little Pumpkin. I came up with the idea for Nick and I to be Kayakers! Hunter had fun going around and getting candy, but as soon as he was done with that he stripped him self out of his costume. Happy Halloween!!!

Our Little Pumpkin

I had to do something when we ran out of candy.

Our trunk after all the candy was gone!
Kavan's first time sitting in a kayak and sure it's not his last.

One of the Trick-O-Treaters was a Race Car driver.
So once the candy ran out the dad let all the little kids drive the car.
Hunter of course LOVED it and didn't want to get out.

The only shot I got of Hunter in his Dino costume.

He was talking on his phone

Hunter and his Cat mask. He had fun meowing all night!!
Earlier tonight, I decide to start Kavan on oatmeal cereal. He's already 15lbs and I've had to supplement to keep up with his growing. He loved it and I couldn't put the food in fast enough.

Fall has come!

Since fall came (and went), it's time for family photos. I've always wanted a family picture amongst the yellowing aspen. So one Thursday night, we picked Nick up from work and hurried to the Thomas Creek Trail head. We than had to walk fast, almost run to get the shots we wanted with the right light. SUCCESS!!!! With the tripod and Nick and I taking turns setting the timer, we actually got so good pictures.

This one is my favorite,
but of course Hunter's eyes are closed.
