Thanksgiving and the last few days...

These pictures are backwards, but here's what we've been up to.

We cut our Christmas tree and put it up. For thanksgiving we went down to Arizona and had a blast having everyone meet Hunter. We had thanksgiving dinner at my brother Peter's house and ate outside because it was nice and sunny. We also took family picture (waiting for those to get here) but we took a few with our camera for fun and had some cute shoots. When we got home we had Hunter try rice cereal, but he wasn't quite sure about it.

Not quite sure if he likes it or not.

Most of it ended up out of his mouth!

On Monday, our last day in Arizona, we went to this star glazing thing. It was really cool. We of course had to take pictures to document that we were in the desert!

While family pictures were going on my mom had gingerbread cookies for everyone. We, or course, had to let Hunter try some. It kept him busy for a while.

Me and Hunter

I just love Hunter's blue eyes!

My brother's house had a swing set, so we put Hunter in and he was just relaxing.

This was on the way to thanksgiving in the car. I couldn't pass up a photo opportunity.

Nick is great at trying down our 12 foot tree.
We cut it down to 10 feet when we get it home.
Oh, that car is totaled now. No more red wagon.

Hunter enjoyed watching us put the tree on the roof.

My little guy just laughing at the camera.

Hunter realized that there are white thing down there that wiggle.
He would go cross eyed just to look at his feet while he moved them.

Admiring his feet, and looking cross eyed.

What Nick and Hunter do best.

We were having giggle time.
I sure love my little boy.

Last little while

I thought I would post some pictures for Hunter. We haven't done much since camping. For Halloween Hunter and I went to our ward's trunk' r' treat together. He was my "Little Snugglesaurus". (aka a little dinosaur).

At Hunter's 2 month check-up, he was: 11.3 lbs and 24 inches long. He did great during his shots (so dad says, mom was at work). He loves to eat his hands and loves looking forward so he can see everything there is to see.

I took this picture this morning of my sleeping baby!

Thought I would try shooting something other than Hunter.
I love his little shoes and the pumpkin is from grandpa!

On the way over to grandma's house for Halloween dinner!

My Snugglesaurus

I just love his little dinosaur toes!

He got WAY over stimulated and crashed!
See his little dinosaur spikes on his beenie!!!

Ok, mom enough pictures!

We have too nuch fun with Hunter. We had gotten some boy clothes from a friend and they had a warm beenine and some toddler snow gloves. So we put them on Hunter. The gloves came up to his arm pits, and wasn't to impressed with us laughing at him.

Nick was trying to figure out the camera and I loved this shot!

2 months!!!

Enjoy the many faces of Hunter at 2 months!

Put up your dukes!

Camping at Big Trees, Ca

Nick had to use up his sick days before December, due to it being UPS's peak season, so he took tuesday the 19th off. We decided to go car camping. (Yes, Nick does camping and paying at a camp ground). So monday after I got off of work we headed down to Big Tree National Forest in California. We got in late, so Nick had to put the tent up and bed and sleeping bags up in the dark. I was keeping Hunter hapy in the nice warm car. Once that was done, he started a fire for dinner ans S'mores.

The warm full-body suit that Hunter splet in to stay warm!

This is how Hunter looked while he was sleeping!

Nick and his huge marshmellow

Yes, they are huge. It took 4 bites to eat the smore.

Here's Hunter in the morning. This was all you could see of him.
His nose stayed warm, do to sucking on his binky all night and blowing out the warm air.

We were very happy to have the carseat in the tent with us. After nursing him, he did want to go to sleep, so we would put him in the car seat nd transfered him to the bed when he was a sleep.

Hunter waking up!

Tuesday morning we got up and had camp pack up by 9am. We got on the trail for the south grove by 10am. This grove has a lot of Sequoia Trees. I forgot how tall and round they were. It was a 5 mile hike and we all had fun!

Our campsite!

Nick's car to prove he camps at campsites.

On the trail, in between a tree they cut to put the trail through.

I'm a COOL DUDE!!!
Isn't he a cutie!

We had a grand time! Hunter did great and wasn't even cold, even though it was freezing at night. We were happy to be able to get outside before winter comes. We can't wait until Hunter is bigger and can take him back!
