Halloween

We had a fun time at our ward Halloween Trunk-o-Treat! This year Hunter was a Dinosaur and Kavan was our little Pumpkin. I came up with the idea for Nick and I to be Kayakers! Hunter had fun going around and getting candy, but as soon as he was done with that he stripped him self out of his costume. Happy Halloween!!!

Our Little Pumpkin

I had to do something when we ran out of candy.

Our trunk after all the candy was gone!
Kavan's first time sitting in a kayak and sure it's not his last.

One of the Trick-O-Treaters was a Race Car driver.
So once the candy ran out the dad let all the little kids drive the car.
Hunter of course LOVED it and didn't want to get out.

The only shot I got of Hunter in his Dino costume.

He was talking on his phone

Hunter and his Cat mask. He had fun meowing all night!!
Earlier tonight, I decide to start Kavan on oatmeal cereal. He's already 15lbs and I've had to supplement to keep up with his growing. He loved it and I couldn't put the food in fast enough.

Fall has come!

Since fall came (and went), it's time for family photos. I've always wanted a family picture amongst the yellowing aspen. So one Thursday night, we picked Nick up from work and hurried to the Thomas Creek Trail head. We than had to walk fast, almost run to get the shots we wanted with the right light. SUCCESS!!!! With the tripod and Nick and I taking turns setting the timer, we actually got so good pictures.

This one is my favorite,
but of course Hunter's eyes are closed.

The Pumpkin Patch

Friday afternoon, Grandma Haines and Hunter went to the pumpkin patch. He had a blast!!!  Grandma said he had to say "HI" to all the animals, and thank you the the guy driving the tractor for the hay ride. Afterwards, they went out for Fries and a Frosty from Wendy's. When he got home, He was so excited to show mom his pumpkin, as well as Kavan's pumpkin, and share his fries with mom. I sure love this little guy!!

So many pumpkins.

Always has to check everything out.
Plus, corn is his favorite veggie.

Need I say more.
I love Hunter's eyes!

TRACTOR BOY!

My farmer and his tractor.

Checking out the cow.
And yes, we use a monkey harness he calls "George".

How close can I get before I get in trouble?

Jump, Jump, Jump

My cute, curious monkey!
I'm glad he had some much fun! He still loves to tell us about his and Kavan's pumpkin.

Thomas Creek

Last Monday, I didn't have any work so we decided to get out and go on a hike. We went on our annual hike of Thomas Creek. I love it because of the Aspen tress! They are always pretty. I can't wait until the turn. We let Hunter have free reign in the trees and he had a blast. He played with stick and rocks, climbed rocks, and spent a lot of time looking at logs. Kavan had fun just watching him. I love that my boys like to be outside and get dirty!!!

Can't wait for more fall hikes when the leaves are changing!
