The Pumpkin Patch

Friday afternoon, Grandma Haines and Hunter went to the pumpkin patch. He had a blast!!!  Grandma said he had to say "HI" to all the animals, and thank you the the guy driving the tractor for the hay ride. Afterwards, they went out for Fries and a Frosty from Wendy's. When he got home, He was so excited to show mom his pumpkin, as well as Kavan's pumpkin, and share his fries with mom. I sure love this little guy!!

So many pumpkins.

Always has to check everything out.
Plus, corn is his favorite veggie.

Need I say more.
I love Hunter's eyes!

Thomas Creek

Last Monday, I didn't have any work so we decided to get out and go on a hike. We went on our annual hike of Thomas Creek. I love it because of the Aspen tress! They are always pretty. I can't wait until the turn. We let Hunter have free reign in the trees and he had a blast. He played with stick and rocks, climbed rocks, and spent a lot of time looking at logs. Kavan had fun just watching him. I love that my boys like to be outside and get dirty!!!

Can't wait for more fall hikes when the leaves are changing!

2 months and 2 years

Kavan is 2 months!!! It's amazing how fast time has gone by. He's getting so big. He started smiling at us yesterday and is all smiles now. He loves to snuggle is crochet blanket.

Height: 24 in (90%)
Weight: 12.4 lbs (75%)
Head: 38.7 cm (25%)

(Kavan is bigger and taller then Hunter was at 2 months, but his head is small!!!!! YAY!!)

Hunter went in for a 2yr check up with Kavan, and he's still gaining weight!

Height: 34 3/4 in (75%)
Weight: 26 lbs (25%)

He's eating more and keeping it down. He did so good at the doctor's office that we got to get Bob the Builder stickers, and had to even take his nap with them. He loves to fun and play. He loves Kavan and is a very big helper. This week he learned on Curios George, how to be a duck. So he now will walk around quacking and walking like duck!

A week ago we to Hunter to a park to take his 2 year old pictures. Out of almost 300, we had maybe 10 good one to work with. He loves being outdoors that he more fun looking at flowers and  playing in the dirt than wanting to take pictures.

2 Months ~ 2 Boys

I was going through some of Hunter's baby pictuers and found a picture I took of him at 2 months. Than I got the idea of putting Kavan in the same outfit and take a picure. See if you tell that they are brothers.

I sure love my boys.

A fun Weekend....

Yesterday, I thought I'd dress up my boys for church. This is how it turned out:

I love his bow tie!!

Hunter wanted to wear his tie, like daddy.
Than he found his hat an decided he wanted to wear it to church.
(ps- it was left in the car for church)

This weekend my sister, Heidi, and my niece, Haley, came out for a visit. We wanted to go do something fun, so i decided to take them rock climbing. We all had a fun time and we all got to climb, even Hunter.
Hunter wanted to be the first one to climb the rock.

My big boy!

Haley- the champ!
She made it almost to the top the first time and
all the way to the top the second time.

Heidi- made it to the top twice!

First time for me to be climbing since I was pregnant with Hunter.
I was a little rusty!

The classic Haines Family picture.
Hunter looking at rocks and Kavan crying!

What Hunter does best:
play in dirt and rocks.

Showing off his prize

This is what Hunter looked like by the time we left. He was covered in dirt from head to toe!!!
After climbing, we stopped at Donner Lake for a picnic. Heidi's taking the picture, and Hunter well he was doing what he does best: playing it the water and trowing dirt into it.

Thursday night while trying to get Hunter to bed, he decided that he wanted to hold Kavan. He specifically wanted him sitting he next to him. It was super cute.

Brotherly Love

My boys!!
